Generate notes from Anki decks

How to

Generate notes in printable HTML, Markdown and Latex formats, from your Anki decks.

Export your Anki cards with File -> Export. Choose the Notes in simple text (.txt) format.
You should check "Include HTML and media references.". You should uncheck "Include tags", as tags won't be recognised.

From Anki's main page, select the File menu, on the top left.
Inside the file menu, select export.
As an export format, choose notes in plain text
Do not include tags. You can include HTML and images, but the images won't be processed.
Save the text file, and open it in a text editor.
Copy the content of the file.

You can import the .txt file or paste its contents into the text area below. You can edit the raw text, or, in the next step, edit the formatted text. Cards must be separated by tabs or by four spaces.
